Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank became the first bank to declare dividend.

Kathmandu. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited has declared dividend to its shareholders from the accumulated profit of the fiscal year 2082/83. The bank has declared a cash dividend of 9 percent to the preference shareholders and 15 percent to the ordinary shareholders from the date of allotment of preference shares.

The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the bank. Last year, the bank had distributed 15.7895% dividend including bonus shares and cash dividend.

The 419th meeting of the board of directors of the bank held at 4:00 pm on August 8, 2083 at the bank’s central office approved the proposal, said Dinesh Thakali, chief executive officer of the bank.
