Ncell to contribute Rs 1 crore for rescue and rehabilitation of flood victims

Kathmandu. Ncell on Wednesday announced to contribute Rs 10 million to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund (PMLF) for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.

Ncell announced this support at a time when floods have caused a huge loss of life and property in the coastal areas of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and Gorkha districts and the need of immediate rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the affected general public.

Ncell has expressed its heartfelt condolences to all those who lost their lives in this tragic incident and to the bereaved family members. It also wishes for the speedy rescue and relief management of the missing and affected people.

Ncell has also been providing support to the affected communities through communication services during this difficult time of disaster. Ncell customers in flood-affected areas have been provided with voice and data services and 100 SMS free of cost for 3 days.

This initiative is expected to help the affected people stay in touch with their families, relatives and the teams involved in the rescue and relief work in a hassle-free manner.
