Kathmandu. At a time when the number of youths going out of the village for foreign employment, education and other works is increasing in recent times, the youths of Palpa have invested in the village and started a water industry. The youths of Tansen of the district have established a drinking water industry in the village with an investment of two crore rupees.
At a time when youths are going abroad and on the other hand, business activities are gradually slowing down, Ramji Dhungana, Laxman Dhungana and Biraj Dhungana have established ‘CN Drinking Water Industry’ in Prabhas of Tansen Municipality-7.
Biraj said that the industry has been brought into operation keeping in mind the increasing demand for drinking water in the local market and the existing industries are not able to meet the demand of the market. He said that preparations are being made to bring treated bottled water of one thousand milliliters, five hundred milliliters and three hundred milliliters capacity to the market in the initial phase, giving priority to the health and demand of the consumers.
The industry has been opened in the memory of their mother Narayani Dhungana and late father Chiranjivi Dhungana and they have named it ‘CN Drinking Water Industry’. Ward Chairman Pradeep Khanal said that the establishment of a new industry with a big investment has been taken positively at a time when business and business has been slowing down in the market in recent times. He said, “The industry will create employment at the local level and play an important role in the easy supply of pure drinking water.” ‘
Ward Chairman Khanal said that the Prabhas area is moving ahead at the pace of rapid development in recent times. “The operation of drinking water industry, milk processing, Lumbini Medical College and private schools in Prabhas has helped a lot in the economic and social development of the region,” he said. Khanal said that the increase in investment in the productive sector amidst the ups and downs in the business sector will give a new basis to the economic activities of Tansen.
Prabhas is building a new economic center
Tansen Municipality-7 Prabhas has been expanding as a center of educational, health and business activities in recent times. Journalist Bharat Sharma believes that economic activities are increasing in Prabhas area due to the introduction of various types of industries and organizations outside the main market area. According to him, the establishment of new industries and businesses in any area is a sign of increasing economic activities in that area.
Sharma said that with the addition of industries and businesses, employment opportunities will be created, the demand for goods and services will increase at the local level, and economic activities will be vibrant. “Industries and organizations from various sectors have been added in the Prabhas area in recent times. This is having a positive impact on the development and expansion of this sector,” he said.
Although Tansen is known as the old commercial and administrative center of Nepal, the businessmen complain that there has been some decline in trade and business in recent times. The establishment of new industries in the local area is considered a positive achievement at a time when the movement of customers in the market has decreased, new business centers have been developed and the spending style of consumers has changed.
CN Group has already made successful investments in the transport sector. Apart from its commercial success, the group has also been actively contributing to social and philanthropic activities including the construction of chauparis in various public places.
