Kathmandu. The prize money of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) has been announced. Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) treasurer Padam Bahadur Khadka announced the prize money at a press conference.

As per the prize money announced by CAN, the winning team of NPL will get Rs 1 crore 50 lakhs.

Similarly, the second team will get Rs 80 lakh and the third team will get Rs 40 lakh. Eight franchise teams will compete in the NPL.

The first match will be played between Lumbini Lions and runner-up Sudurpaschim Royals.
