Kathmandu. Government websites have been closed for 4 days due to security risks in the PHP coding system. The government has temporarily closed the websites in view of cyber security.

However, even after 4 days of the closure of the websites, there is no change in the opening of the websites.

As soon as the security risk was seen in PHP, various banks and financial institutions, including the Rastra Bank, also temporarily shut down the website and online services. However, most of the banks and financial institutions have already started the service by solving the problem.

However, even though the websites of private companies have been operational, the government websites are closed. Due to the closure of the websites, those who take online services have been affected.

The websites of the Department of Passport, Department of Transport Management, VCTS system of Revenue Investigation Department, Nepal Rastra Bank, Department of Land Management and Archives, Kalimati Vegetable Market have been facing problems.
