Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel has said that the property he has made public is the result of honest hard work. He said this while posting on the social media (Facebook).

“I am a student of public policy, good governance and anti-corruption,” he said, adding that transparency is the most powerful tool to prevent corruption.

Similarly, he has said that although it is technically sufficient to show only his personal assets, he has exercised full transparency and disclosed properties } to the father, mother and maternal uncle’s } parties.

Pokharel has also said that he has no fear while making all his assets public.‘… I have no fear, all these assets are the sincere hard-earned money of my family. “, he wrote. 

According to the property details made public by Pokharel, his total assets are Rs 24.16 crore and Rs 75 lakh.
