Kathmandu. Pokhara—Pokhara Metropolitan City (Pokhara) has launched a free shuttle bus service to provide reliable, reliable and convenient transportation to air passengers from Pokhara International Airport to Amsingh Chowk. The cost of the free shuttle bus service will be borne by Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank.
Pokhara Metropolitan City There will be two electric bus services from Pokhara International Airport in Ward No. 14 to Amar Singh Chowk daily. The buses will operate from 6 am to 10 pm and will provide beneficial service to the passengers to reach the main road.
Passengers have been facing inconvenience as they have to travel 2 kilometers to reach the main road from Pokhara International Airport.
The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has decided to bear the cost of the operation of the buses which will be made available free of cost to all the passengers till the end of Ashadh, 2083. Chief Executive Officer of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Ishwori Prasad Pokharel and Regional Chief of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Shiva Kumar Dhakal signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, regional chief Dhakal expressed happiness for the bank being able to support the local government in such activities for the general public. On the occasion, Administrative Officer Pokharel thanked the metropolis for supporting the free shuttle bus service.
