Kathmandu. On the eve of the Class 12 examinations starting from tomorrow, some students of Jajarkot are on the verge of being deprived of the examination due to lack of admit cards. Students and parents are confused as they have not received the admit cards even after completing all the necessary procedures.

According to Shree Manne Dhunga Secondary School in Kushe Rural Municipality-2, Talegaon, the admit cards of some students who are preparing to appear for the class 12 examination this year have not been received yet. The school administration has complained that no clear answer has been received when they tried to contact the concerned authorities.

Surendra Singh, principal of the school, said, “The students have completed all the processes including filling the form and paying the fee on time. However, the National Examination Board (NEB) was contacted to know the reason for not receiving the admit card. ’

A student, who did not get the admit card, claimed that he completed all the procedures on time and said, “When I went to school, I was told that the admit card had not come. When I asked why I did not come later, I got a vague answer that the document might have been missing. Now I am afraid that I will not be able to take the exam. ’

Meanwhile, Yagyashwor Khatri, chief of the Education Development and Coordination Unit, Jajarkot, said that they were unaware of the issue. “The concerned school and examination board will look after the management of the class 12 examination,” he said.

Innocent students are suffering due to lack of coordination among the concerned bodies on sensitive issues like examinations. The affected students and parents are worried as there is no concrete initiative to solve the problem even with only one day left for the examination to start.

They have demanded an investigation and action against those who play with the future of the students.
