Kathmandu. The appointment of Chartered Accountant Prakash Lamsal to the High Level Property Investigation Commission formed by the government has seen happinessamong the CPN-UML. The CPN-UML has been happy after Lamsal, popularly known as ‘KP Oli’s man’, was appointed to the Property Investigation Commission formed by the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) government. 

So much so that those who have taken the most appointments from the UML quota are happy with Lamsal’s appointment. 

Hari Silwal, the proprietor of the government-owned Rastriya Banijya Bank , shared an old photo with him and congratulated him.

Silwal is a relative of CPN-UML leader Bishnu Poudel.Poudel was appointed as the director of the National Commerce Bank ( from the UML quota as he was a relative of Poudel. Silwal, who was dragged into controversy after being appointed as a director, is still sitting in the post of director under the guise of power. 

Lamsal is the auditor of bank. Lamsal, who has audited with his own CEO {{} ‘Conflict of interest’ is now happy with Silwal as well as the UML people are happy that he has become a member of the Property Investigation Commission. Silwal had lobbied Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle to not remove him from his post after the government asked the government to resign from the post of political appointees.

Not only this, he is also rumored to be the Vice President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) through Lamsal Finance Minister.We called him to know about it, but he said he didn’t know anything about it. “I don’t know.
