Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Police has warned people to avoid fraud in the name of World Cup (World Cup). Issuing a notice, Nepal Police has warned the citizens to avoid online fraud in the name of ‘World Cup 2026’. 

According to the police, a gang of fraudsters is active online on the pretext of showing the ‘World Cup 2026’ live. 

They have been asked to download the suspicious APK application on the pretext of ‘Watch World Cup 2026 Live and urged them to be aware of the trend of hacking mobile banking and financial fraud.

The police have also urged people to avoid such frauds andonline scams in the name of ‘World Cup 2026’.
