Kathmandu. Shangrila Development Bank Limited has organized a free eye check-up and treatment camp in Darchula. As part of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the free eye camp was organized at District Hospital Khalanga on Friday and at Duhu Rural Municipality on June 12, 2083.

A total of 387 people were provided eye check-up and consultation with specialist doctors at the eye camp at the District Hospital Khalanga and 324 at the camp at Duhu Rural Municipality.

A team of ophthalmologists from Geta Eye Hospital, Dhangadhi, provided services in the camp. The camp will provide free surgery to the patients who need cataract surgery.

The camp was attended by local people, people’s representatives and representatives of the concerned bodies.

The bank has been providing its services through 109 branches and 30 ATMs across the country. Shangrila Development Bank, which adheres to best practices of corporate governance, risk management and internal control system, is committed to further expand its services in the days ahead.
