He said that unnecessary pressure is being created on the financial system amid the economic recession prevailing in the country, unfavourable investment environment, deteriorating morale of businessmen and the government’s continuous control-orienteddecisions.

Upadhyay said that even though the banking sector is in a difficult situation due to natural calamities and market weakness, this problem can be solved. He said that the banking system system will facilitate the flow of capital into the economy (cashflow) and warned that if there is a problem in the heart, the body of the economy will become unconscious.

‘Just as a heart operates the circulatory system in the body, the role of the banking sector in the economy is exactly the same. “Therefore, the banking sector should be treated very sensitively and carefully,” he said. ’

Similarly, Bankingsystem is a unique area where the ‘trust’ of the depositors (confidence) should not be misled by ignoring this sensitivity of the financial sector. “No matter how good we say today, no matter how good the number one bank is , if the depositor’s trust is lost and the savings are withdrawn, then that bank will be empty and collapse tomorrow,” he said. “No one should play the game of weakening the banking sector as it is a sector that is completely based on trust,” he said. ’
