Kathmandu. The floods in Bhotekoshi have caused a loss of billions of rupees in 11 commercial banks . The floods that occurred at Bhotekoshi on August 2 6 caused a loss of Rs 73 billion to 11 banks .

This fact has been mentioned in the report of the Sub-Committee on Impact of Floods on the Economy and Climate Finance, 2083 BS made public by the Finance Committee.

According to the report, 11 branches of 11 and 14 branches of the bank have been washed away by the floods. Some of these branches have been partially damaged and most of the branches have been completely damaged.

The damaged banks have lost assets worth Rs 17.24 billion in cash and Rs 55.68 billion, excluding cash. Due to the floods, 26 employees of banks and financial institutions are out of contact.
