Kathmandu. National Life Insurance Company Limited has contributed Rs 1.51 crore to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.
The company has provided the amount to support the reconstruction, economic recovery and relief work after the massive floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers on August 26.
The company’s Chairman Prema Rajya Laxmi Singh and Chief Executive Officer Suresh Prasad Khatri handed over the cheque of Rs 1.
51 crore to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle amid a function held on Tuesday.
Expressing sorrow over the loss of life and property due to the floods, National Life Insurance has urged the concerned employees and agents of the company to involve in the rescue and relief work.
The company has paid tribute to all those who lost their lives in the natural disaster and expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. It also wished speedy recovery to the injured.
