Kathmandu. Online bus ticket service provider Bus Service has opened advance ticket booking for Dashain. The bus service has opened advance ticket booking for Dashain. Earlier, on Tuesday, the Department of Transport Management had decided to open advance ticket booking for from September 23. According to the decision of the department, the bus service has opened advance ticket booking. The department had also requested to book tickets online through apps instead of standing in queue and buying tickets.

Meanwhile, the bus service has made digital ticket booking effective this year with the message ‘Let’s buy tickets online and not by standing in line’ with the message . Passengers will be able to choose their destination, travel date, bus and seat from home by logging in to the bus service’s mobile app and website .

PR Khanal, Chief Executive Director of the bus service, said that there will be a discount of up to Rs 1 00 for those who book tickets in advance from the bus service to facilitate the passengers. Apart from this, various banks and digital payment partners cashback and other discount offers are also in operation.

The bus service has also been continuously managing the condition of buses and seats available on popular routes to make the Dashain journey easier. The company has said that efforts will be made to provide additional services and seats as per the demand of the passengers.
