Kathmandu. Pratap Subedi has been appointed as the CEO of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). A cabinet meeting held on Wednesday appointed Subedi as the CEO of NEPSE.

The committee had recommended the names of three members including Subedi to the Council of Ministers.

Nawaraj Sapkota, Narayan Sapkota and Anil Raj Poudel were in the race for the post of CEO of NEPSE. However, out of the four members, the government has appointed Subedi as the CEO.

Before becoming the CEO of NEPSE, Subedi was working in the Agriculture Development Bank. He had earlier tried to become the CEO of Nepal Bank, Rastriya Banijya Bank and others.
