Kathmandu.Transport entrepreneurs have demanded a hike in the transport fare . Issuing a press release, the Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs(FNNNTE) has demanded a hike in transport fares.

The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the priceof petroleum products with effect fromWednesday night.

According to transport entrepreneurs, the transport entrepreneurs have demanded to adjust the fuel fare saying that the fuel price has been increased twice since the last adjustment of the fare .Along with the fare adjustment, they have also demanded the rollback of the price hike .

Similarly,the Federation has also asked the members of the Federation to reduce the consumption of petroleum products and minimize the losses incurred while operating the service.
