Vigilance Centre recommends action against 632 employees

Kathmandu. The National Vigilance Centre has recommended the chiefs of the offices concerned to take action against 632 employees.

Spokesperson of the Centre, Narayan Prasad Bhatta, said that the Centre has recommended action against the employees by carrying out surprise monitoring of various offices. The concerned office will issue a warning letter to the employees as per Clause 55 of the Civil Service Act, 2049 BS and its records will be kept at the office.

Similarly, the Act provides for departmental action against the employees who have been warned twice. He said that the employees who do not come to the office during office hours have been recommended for action.

Bhatta said that the center has already received information that action has been taken against some employees. According to him, the Centre had carried out surprise monitoring in such offices where service delivery is high.

Similarly, the centre is monitoring in one district each of all seven states÷. The center is monitoring the offices in the districts where there is a lot of public contact. Spokesperson Bhatta said that the Centre has been monitoring the government offices on a daily basis.
