Kathmandu. In the last one month, 11 lakh driving licenses (license) have been printed. In the first five months of starting the license printing, only 1 lakh licenses were printed, but in the last one month, 11 lakh licenses have been printed.

The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) had signed an agreement with the Security Printing Center to print 1.2 million licenses in six months.

Stating that all the licenses have been printed as per the agreement, Devraj Dhungana, executive director of the center,said that the work of packing the licenses that have been printed is underway. According to him, the details of the licenses that have already been printed will also be updated on the website soon.

According to the government’s policy of printing the license within 24 hours of submitting the revenue by passing the trial , the remaining licenses will also be printed by the end of July.
