Kathmandu. Government programs will no longer be allowed in hotels and resorts. All the programs under the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation will not be allowed in hotels and resorts.

The Ministry has directed all the offices to conduct the programs in the meeting hall or meeting room inside the office.

The Ministry’s Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Division has issued a circular to all divisions, commissions, NEAs, departments and offices directing them to make government expenditure economical and result-oriented. 

According to the Division, any office shall no longer conduct meetings, seminars, trainings, seminars and other activities in hotels and resorts and in its own office premises or in the meeting room and training room within the government structure.
