Kathmandu. The government has directed the state treasury to submit details of those who have taken dual or more facilities. The government has sought details from the Ministry of Home Affairs after a study conducted by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (PMO) found that former high-ranking officials were getting more than or double allowances as per the rules. 

According to a source close to Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen), the Home Ministry has been asked to provide the exact details of the vehicles used by the former special officials today itself. 

The Home Ministry is preparing to send details of the facilities being enjoyed by former Presidents, former Vice Presidents, former Prime Ministers, former Chief Justices, former Speaker and former National Assembly to the Office of the Prime Minister.

On the basis of the details sent by the Home Ministry, the government will refund the facility to those who take more facilities {{} against the criteria.It is believed that this will prevent misuse of state funds and help in maintaining good governance.
