Kathmandu. The ‘Dabur Honey’ produced by Dabur Nepal Pvt. Ltd. has been proved to be sub-standard. A batch of ‘Dabur Honey, which has been making its in Nepalese kitchens, has proved to be completely sub-standard. 

According to the department, the product was found to be sub-standard in the sample test conducted by the Department of Food Technology and Quality Control. 

Batch number according to department. NB004 DABUR, Production Date 2025/12 and 500 grams of Dabur with a shelf life of 18 months were found to be of no quality as per the standards. 

The Department has also directed the government to immediately recall all the products of the batch as per Section 38 (2) of the Food Hygiene and Quality Act, 2081.Similarly, the department has also directed not to sell ‘Dabur Honey’ as per Section 38 (4) of the same Act.
