Kathmandu. From now on, banks and financial institutions will not be able to employ more employees.The Rastra Bank has issued a circular to the banks and financial institutions, directing them not to work beyond office hours.

With this, banks and financial will no longer be able to employ employees in accordance with the internal directives or rules of the organization.

Earlier, the employees of the bank and financial institutions had been complaining that they were working more than the office hours, working even on holidays and not paying extra fees for the extra work. 

Employees Responding to the same complaint, the Rastra Bank has directed Bank and the financial institutions to employ employees in accordance with the prevailing law and the directive of the bank ।

Similarly, thebank has also been directed to provide additional remuneration to employees who are employed in overtime except office hours as per the prevailing provision of . With this, employees working overtime in banks and financial institutions will now get overtime in addition to office hours.
