Kathmandu. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of commercial banks of the bank is preparing to be barred from becoming the governor of the bank. Preparations have been made to make such provision through the third amendment to the ‘Nepal Rashtra Bank Act, 2058 BS. 

The government has tabled the ‘Nepal Rastra Bank Bank Bill, 2083′ in the House of Representatives on May 26 to amend the ‘Rastra Bank Act, 2058′. 

The bill clearly states that a person who has earned work experience by specifying various working areas can be appointed to the post of Governor of the Rastra Bank .However, the executive heads of commercial banks have been removed from the definition of work experience for the appointment of governors. 

With this, it has been clearly made clear in the bill to become the executive director of the bank .
