Kathmandu. The government has distributed products of the Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) to the ministers. Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment Geeta Chaudhary distributed milk, ghee, curd, paneer and cheese to the Prime Minister and other ministers and other ministers to promote domestic products.

The cabinet meeting also held an in-depth discussion on the countrywide promotion and market expansion of the government-owned DDC products .

In the meeting, Agriculture Minister Chaudhary raised the agenda of DDC’s production promotion.Minister Chaudhary stressed on the need to give priority to the use of DDC productsand the promotion of DDC products for the protection of domestic milk production, promotion of farmers’ interests and business strengthening of the corporation.

She stressed on the need of coordination among different agencies of the government to develop DDC as a more competitive, quality and self-reliant organization.She also stressed on the need for necessary support from the government to properly manage the milk collected fromNepali dairy farmers and to ensure the market for the production. On the occasion, she distributed the products of DDC to the members of the Cabinet including Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen) .
