Kathmandu. The highest share of loans disbursed to the industrial sector from banks and financial institutions is concentrated in Bagmati Province.According to the statistics of the Nepal Rashtra Bank , out of the total loans disbursed to the industrial sector till mid-January 2082, Bagmati Province has invested 1,284.30 billion or 72.22. Karnali Province has the lowest loan disbursement of Rs 4.41 billion or 0.25 per cent of the total loan disbursement.

The share of industrial loan in the province is 9.22 percent, percent in Madhesh Province, 1.62 percent in Gandaki Province, 7. 91 percent in Lumb ini Province and 1.55 percent.

According to the bank’s bank , the credit disbursed to the industrial sector increased by 7.99 percent to 1778.30 billion in mid-January 2082 compared to the previous year. Such loans had increased by 17.66 percent in the same period of the previous year. Out of the total bank loans , the share of the industrial sector is 30.82 percent.

Non-food ( of industrial credit } The industry related to the production of goods has the highest share of 35.67 of industrial credit. This is followed by electricity, gas and water related industries 26.62 percent, agriculture, forest and beverage related industries 20.64 percent, construction related industries 12.26 percent, metal products, machinery and electronics industries 4.14 percent and mining related industries 0.67 percent It has been.

In the first six months of the current fiscal year , 461 new industries including small, medium and large enterprises have been registered across the country. During this period, Bagmati Province recorded the highest number of 363 industries while the Sudurpaschim Province recorded the lowest number of four industries. The proposed foreign investment in the industries registered in the review period stood at Rs 55.83 billion. These industries are expected to generate employment for 22,885 people.
