Kathmandu. The Nepal Financial Institution Employees Association has demanded an impartial investigation into the death of Rashmi.Issuing a press release, the association has demanded an impartial investigation into the death of Rashmi Rijal, a compliance officer of Sanima Capital.
A statement issued by Parshuram Khanal, Acting President of the Association and General Secretary Bikash Shrestha stated that although the initial details of the incident have been made public, the actual cause, workplace environment, institutional behavior and the role of the concerned parties are yet to be made public.
Similarly, the questions raised by the family in the incident, inquiries about the role of the company’s and and the investigation have made the incident more serious. ।
The association has demanded that a fair, independent, transparent, scientific and evidence-based investigation into the incident be conducted and the truth be made public at the earliest.Likewise, the association has also demanded the government to take stern action against the culprits if the investigation proves mental harassment, misconduct, negligence or violation of law by any person or institution.
