Kathmandu. Sipradi and Bhotekoshi Power Companies, under the Sipradi Group, have contributed Rs 50.1 million to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund with the aim of supporting the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the communities affected by the devastating floods.

The amount is expected to be used for rescue and relief, health treatment and restoration of flood-damaged infrastructures to address the immediate needs of flood-affected families and communities, according to the company.

The Sipradi Group has also been providing direct relief and assistance to the affected families through ‘Sipradian Sahayata Sanstha’ as part of its social responsibility. The representatives of the organization are reaching out to the affected communities and distributing essential relief materials, food and other basic items by identifying local needs.

The group said it has been providing necessary materials and support in coordination with the local levels keeping the immediate needs of the affected families in priority.

The Sipradi Group, which has been expressing solidarity with the affected communities in this time of crisis, has pledged to provide necessary support and cooperation for rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the affected families in this difficult time of disaster.
