. Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited has approved a proposal to distribute 11 percent cash dividend to its shareholders. The 16th Annual General Meeting of the company has approved a proposal to distribute a cash dividend of Rs 5.38 crore i. e. 11 percent of the paid-up capital.

The AGM held at Laxmi Complex in Hattisar, Kathmandu on Thursday approved the annual report, balance sheet for the fiscal year 2082/83, profit and loss account and cash flow statement. In addition, for the financial year 2083/84, NBSM and Associates have been decided to continue as auditors.

According to the company, the earnings per share as of mid-July 2083 stood at Rs 12.66. It has been decided to distribute cash dividend to the shareholders on the basis of distributable income.

Laxmi Sunrise Capital, which has more than three decades of experience in the capital market of Nepal, has been contributing in the field of merchant banking and mutual investment funds. The company operates seven mutual funds, including six closed-ended and one open-ended funds, worth about Rs 6 billion.
