Kathmandu. More than Rs 11 billion has been collected in the ‘Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund’ . The ‘Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund’ and the ‘Prime Minister’s Relief Fund’ have so far collected Rs 11.05 billion .
The government has already released Rs 1 billion for the flood-affected areas.
According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, an additional Rs 1,98,37,695 has been deposited in the dollar account of 9 commercial banks and 8 billion 06 million 25 lakh 15 thousand 815 and Himalayan Bank and Lax mi Bank .
The amount collected in the fund will be used for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by thefloods in Bhotekoshi.
