First Microfinance has announced the distribution of dividends. The company has decided to distribute a 15 percent dividend from last year’s profits.

The meeting of the company’s board of directors held on Wednesday decided to distribute a 7.5 percent bonus share and a 7.5 percent cash dividend, for a total of 15 percent dividend distribution.

After the proposed dividend is approved by the regulatory authority, Nepal Rastra Bank, and the upcoming annual general meeting of Microfinance, it will only be distributed to the shareholders.

Last year, the company distributed a 19 percent bonus share and a 1 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
