Kathmandu. The U. S. Central Command has announced that it will resume blockades on Iranian ports starting Tuesday. In a statement, the Centre Command said it was going to continue the blockade that was implemented from April 13 to June 18. 

CENTCOM reported during the previous two-month blockade, U. S. forces diverted more than 140 ships and grounded nine ships that violated directive . 

During the same period, more than 50 commercial ships carrying humanitarian aid were allowed to move around, CENT COM said. 

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has said that the US is resuming a naval blockade on the Strait of Hor muz }.President Trump has also announced a 20 percent tariff on all cargo ships using the waterway.
