Kathmandu. The government has started a study on the provision of insurance and stock market services in the villages. The Ministry of Finance has formed a high-level expert committee and started a study in this regard.

The committee will study the possibility of providing banking services to the villages in the absence of knowledge and services related to insurance and stock market.

On the basis of the five-year ‘Financial Sector Development Strategy’, Dr. The study committee has been formed under the convenorship of Dr. Sanjay Acharya.

The committee comprises Mahesh Acharya, joint secretary at the Financial Sector Coordination Division of the Ministry of Finance, Ramu Poudel, executive director of Nepal Rastra Bank, Ramu Poudel and Moushumi Shrestha as an expert member.
