Kathmandu. After the 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress was extended by a day, the party will bear the expenses of the general convention delegates for one more day.

Treasurer of the Nepali Congress, Umesh Shrestha, said that the party will bear the expenses of the general convention delegates for one more day’s stay in Kathmandu.

According to him, the general convention was targeted to be held by October 22. However, after the election process was delayed by a day, he said that the party would bear the cost of accommodation and food for another day.

He said that the party would make necessary arrangements to ensure that the general convention delegates do not have to face additional financial burden.
