Kathmandu. Australia is preparing to impose a death tax. The law, which was repealed 46 years ago, is being revived and the death tax is being imposed.

This is the first time in Australia that a person had to pay tax on his property after his death. However, in 1979, all types of death taxes were abolished. Now, the Australian government is preparing to bring the death tax law again.

Death tax is levied on the property of the person who dies. Such a tax must be paid by the heir of the property after the death of the person. If this tax is implemented, it will help reduce inequality within the country. However, it has also been analyzed that the families who have left the business and shared the property could be affected.

According to international media, Australia aims to generate $70 billion in revenue from this tax.
