The National Examination Board has published the result of Grade 12 final examination today. The examination to this was held from 15-24 September this year at home-centre due to the risk of second wave of COVID-19.
According to Exam Controller Krishna Prasad Sharma, the meeting of the Board convened today at the Board office at Sanothimi in Bhaktapur decided to publish the results. Of the total 374,015 examinees, 7,036 secured ‘A’ + grade while 48,239 got ‘A’. Similarly, 70,001 examinees obtained ‘B’ +, 99,537 got ‘B’. The number of students securing ‘C’ grade is 75,088 and those securing ‘C’ + stands at 24,515, said the Board.
A total of 3,875 examinees received ‘D’ plus and 296 got ‘D’. Altogether 10,073 got ‘E’ grade. All examination results of 46 students were cancelled while four students were expelled from all examination of the Board till next year.
The Board said that the students could check their result in the website of the Board at www.neb.gov.np or in the Nepal Telecom’s (NTC)’s website www.neb.ntc.net.np. Likewise, the students could also view their results through SMS. They can type NEB and type their symbol number and send it to 1600 result through SMS or dial at 1601 at the Nepal Telecom and follow the instructions there to check the results.
