Xiaomi, the leading smartphone company in Nepal has provided educational and health supply to Maitreya Foundation & Love Light Society. Maitreya Foundation and Love Light Society both orphanages are based in Godavari. Xiaomi Nepal has been actively involved in generating value and bringing a positive impact in the society helping the needy ones.

Xiaomi enhances the well-being of the communities it operates in by contributing to areas of society that align with its business offerings and operations. Xiaomi has taken the lead in organizing various social welfare initiatives to give back to the community. As a part of its corporate social responsibility, Xiaomi has donated over 200 school bags, stationery items, footballs, basketballs, masks, and sanitizers to the Maitreya Foundation and Love Light Society, both located in Godavari. The donations were presented to these organizations by Mr. Amit Kumar Panda, the Country General Manager of Xiaomi Nepal

Commenting on the event, Mr. Amit Kumar Panda, Country General Manager of Xiaomi Nepal said,” The aim is to reach out to as many people as possible and create an inclusive environment for students’ education. We have made it our Mi-ssion education. The campaign will be an ongoing effort wherein the end goal would be ‘education for all’. We believe that CSR is a long-term approach to business that addresses the needs of communities, people and the company”
