Global IME Bank Limited has collaborated with International Finance Corporation (IFC) for technical assistance on Environment and Social Risk Management and has conducted Training on ‘Environment and Social Risk Management (ESRM)’ to the employees working in credit department. The training program were attended by around 400 staffs of the bank.

Training had mainly covered IFC Performance Standards & good Environment, Social & Governance (ESG). Training was facilitated by various E&S professionals/ experts from IFC.

The bank believes that training has enhanced the capacity of the staffs working under credit functions to understand International best practices on ESRM & good corporate governance & expects to be beneficial for entire banking industry.
