Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Rajendra Prasad Pande, has expressed commitment to illuminate the Bagmati province collaborating between Bagmati province government and Nepal Electricity Authority.
Addressing an interaction organised at Hetauda of Makawanpur, CM Pande shared that Bagmati Province government has kept other alternative energy production and use including water and energy in its top priority. He further said that the province government with the collaboration of Nepal Electricity Authority would forward activities to provide electricity service to cent percent households of the province, to provide induction oven at concessional price to the families with low income in order to increase power consumption, and to establish charging station at different places for the promotion of electric vehicles.
Similarly, Minister for Water Supply, Irrigation and Energy, Basanta Bahadur Manandhar, member Policy and Planning Commission of of Bagmati Province, Raju Nepal, among others briefed about the condition and problem of electricity in the province.
