Asian Paints Nepal, one of the largest paint companies in Nepal, celebrated the festival of colors, Holi, in association with KMC Ward No. 24 and Kutumba Band on March 6th, at Indra Chowk, Kathmandu. The event was aimed to uplift and showcase the Newa culture and community through the cultural band, Kutumba.
The event started at 1 pm and lasted till 4 pm, attracting a large number of participants. The major highlight of the event was the instrumental performance by Kutumba Band, which mesmerized the audience with its soulful folk tunes. The band’s performance showcased the essence of the Newa culture, which is deeply rooted in Nepalese tradition.
Apart from the musical performance, participants also enjoyed the photobooth and the colorful open shower placed by Asian Paints Nepal. The open shower was a big attraction, where people drenched themselves in colorful water and enjoyed the festive spirit of Holi.
Commenting on the event, Mr. Gopalakrishnan G. , Country Director of Asian Paints Nepal, said, ‘We are delighted to celebrate Holi with KMC Ward No. 24 and Kutumba Band. The event was aimed to promote and showcase the Newa culture and community, which is an integral part of Nepal’s rich heritage. The event was a big success, with participants expressing their appreciation for the celebration of Nepali culture and tradition. Asian Paints Nepal’s association with KMC Ward No. 24 and Kutumba Band was an excellent initiative to promote Nepal’s cultural diversity and heritage.
