Gandaki Province Chief Prithviman Gurung stressed the need of political stability for economic improvement in the country.
In his address to the 6th conference of the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Gandaki Province in Pokhara on Monday, he claimed economic sector would not make leap forward if political instability continued in the country.
Province Chief Gurung said the State should adopt proper policy and enable environment to attract both the domestic and foreign investors. “There would be investment and business-friendly environment in the country only with the prevalence of political stability. It would very indeed boost country’s economy”, the province chief added. “The political leadership and state mechanisms should be supportive in promoting industry and business”. Province chief Gurung lauded the pivotal contributions of private sector in creating jobs and making national economy dynamic.
