Ncell Axiata Limited has announced that it will provide support worth 50 lakh rupees to earthquake victims. Ncell has declared to provide immediate support of 50 lakh rupees for the earthquake-affected victims of Jajarkot and Rukum West, which were severely affected by the powerful earthquake. In a statement, Ncell announced that it would make available 50 lakh rupees for the rescue, treatment, and relief of earthquake victims.
Ncell has also informed us that the company will pay the said amount to the earthquake-affected people through the Karnali Pradesh government. Similarly, Ncell has also announced plans to provide free services worth 40 lakh rupees to its customers in earthquake-affected areas, which include services such as phone calls, data, and SMS. Such services can be availed of within 15 days of the company’s announcement.
Similarly, Nepal Telecom has also announced plans to make telephone and SMS services available for free in earthquake-affected areas such as Jajarkot, Rukum West, and Rukum East, up to five districts. For this purpose, Nepal Telecom has already distributed free voice and SMS SIM cards for five days.
