Rajesh Kaji Shrestha has been nominated as the Chairperson of the Advisory Council of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce. Also, the former Chairperson of the Chamber, Shrestha, has been entrusted with the responsibility of chairing its advisory council.

Among others nominated as members of the council having the advisory role for the institutional development and capacity enhancement of entrepreneurs are former chairpersons of the Chamber, Mahesh Kumar Agrawal, Surendra Bir Malakar, and Suresh Kumar Basnet.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Chamber said that the Council has the role of establishing coordination between the government and private sector, expanding international relations, protecting the rights and welfare of entrepreneurs and the business fraternity, and strengthening the role of the the role of the private sector.
