Himalayan Re-Insurance Company has appointed Upasana Poudel as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The meeting of the company’s board of directors accepted the resignation of CEO Chandrashekhar and appointed Poudel as the new CEO of the company. The board meeting has sent a proposal to the Insurance Board of Nepal for the approval of Poudel’s appointment as CEO.

Previously, Poudel was working as CEO at United Insurance. She had left United Insurance in the last week of Kartik.

Poudel, who has completed her MBA from Delhi University, has a decade of work experience with ICICI Lombard Insurance and Indian Exams.
