NEPSE fell on Tuesday, the third trading day of the year. The NEPSE index decreased by 17.79 points as compared to Monday and reached 2423.09 points. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), 196.96 million shares of 209 companies were bought and sold today, resulting in a turnover of over Rs 8.27 billion. Even today, Nepal Life Insurance has the highest turnover.

The company had a turnover of Rs 1.45 billion. After that, the transactions have been done by Nepal Bank and Shikhar Insurance respectively. Today, all but two groups have declined. Similarly, today most of the Gurans microfinance investors have earned while Shiv Shree Hydropav investors have lost the most.
