The stock market also set a new record on Monday, the second trading day of the year. The NEPSE index rose 17.31 points to 2332.31 points as compared to Sunday, setting a new record.
Investors have been more enthusiastic as the stock market has been steadily rising recently.According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), 1,54,96,714 shares of 207 companies have been bought and sold today, resulting in a turnover of over Rs 6.31 billion.Today, most transactions have been done by Prabhu Bank. Shares of the bank worth Rs 334.694 million have been bought and sold.
