Nepal Investment Bank is going to issue bonds worth Rs 4 billion.The bank is going to issue 4 million units of bonds worth Rs 4 billion at the rate of Rs 1,000 per unit from January 29. The bank will issue 1.6 million units out of 4 million units to the public and the remaining 2.4 million units will be sold to the federation.
The bank is about to issue ‘Nepal Investment Bank Bond 2084’ for a period of 7 years. The bank has stated that it will give 8.5% interest rate annually. RBB Merchant Banking will act as the sales manager.Investors will be able to apply for the bonds till February 2.
If all the bonds are not sold by that time, the application will remain open till February 12. Applications can be submitted through C-ASBA. The bank has stated that applications can be made from a minimum of 25 lots to a maximum of 250,000 lots.
