The stock market rose on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the year. The Nepse index has risen by 8.66 points as compared to Tuesday and reached 2543.03 points. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), 1,491,077 shares of 191 companies were traded at a turnover of over Rs 7.64 billion today.
Global IME Bank has the highest turnover today. The bank has a turnover of over Rs 520 million. After that, the transactions have been done by Prabhu Bank and Kumari Bank respectively. Five groups have declined on Wednesday. Similarly, today, the investors of Gorkhaj Finance have earned the most while the investors of Sadhana Microfinance have lost the most.
