Nepal’s and the world’s biggest online shopping event, 11.11. is back again. Daraz has announced the fourth edition of the sale will be happening on 11th November 2021 (25th Kartik 2078) with discounts worth 5 crores on 11 lakh products. Following the grand success of the Dashain campaign, the company says they have fully shifted their focus to prepare for the biggest shopping festival recruiting more than 1,400 new staff which include customer care agents and over 1,000 new delivery riders. The company has also onboarded more than 1,000 delivery vehicles, and partnered with 7 logistic partners to ensure smooth and fast delivery to more than 47 cities across the nation.

Speaking about Daraz’s logistics preparation for the campaign, Bimal Aryal, Chief Operating Officer at Daraz Nepal said, “Throughout the year, we focused on how we could enhance the logistics experience of all our customers and sellers. We prioritized key aspects of logistics operations like expansion, automation, continuous process optimization and learning and development. And now we’re fully prepared for the biggest sale of the year. In terms of our operational capacity, we started our hiring process well in advance so that we could provide the required training beforehand. Our resources are now fully adept and we’re all geared up to offer a flawless customer and seller experience during 11.11.”

The company plans to bring this year’s edition 11.11 yet again on another level compared to last year’s major success. Over the past year, Daraz has invested heavily in further optimizing their logistics infrastructure across the country, onboarding thousands of new sellers, creating new innovative experiences such as live streaming and forming new alliances with brands and payment partners to disrupt the entire ecommerce ecosystem. Daraz believes 11.11. will be the embodiment of the company’s and all their partners’ entire year’s effort to ensure the best online shopping experience for Daraz users across the nation.
