Nepal Investment Bank has started applying for bonds worth Rs 4 billion from today. The bank has opened sale of 4 million units of bonds at the rate of Rs 1,000 per unit from today. The bank has issued ‘Nepal Investment Bank Bond 2084’ for a period of 7 years.
Out of 4 million units, 1.6 million units will be open to the public and the remaining 2.4 million units will be sold to organizations. The bank has stated that it will give 8.5% annual interest rate.Investors will be able to apply for a minimum of 25 lots and a maximum of 250,000 lots. If all the bonds are not sold by that time, the application will remain open till January 12. Applications can be submitted through C-ASBA.
